When Is the New Orleans Caribbean Carnival?
The New Orleans Caribbean Carnival festivities are scheduled for the weekend of June 27th to June 30th. J'ouvert will take place on Friday, June 28th, followed by the Carnival Parade on Saturday, June 29th.
When Can We Select Our Costumes?
The official costume unveiling is scheduled for March 30th, with online sales kicking off on April 6th. Exclusive early access to registration and costume choices before April 6th will be granted to masqueraders who have pre-registered and those present at the costume band launch event.
Are Deposits Refundable?
Unfortunately, all pre-registration deposits are non-refundable. However, you do have the option to transfer your deposit to another masquerader who has not yet registered. For more information, please feel free to reach out to us at Info@BraveCarnivalBand.com.
How Much Are The Costumes?
Costume prices start at $250 for the T-Shirt Section, escalating to approximately $400 for complete outfits, including feather backpacks and accessories. Masqueraders have the flexibility to pick and choose costume pieces à la carte, allowing for personalized customization of their costumes!
Is the Parade In A Stadium or In the Streets of New Orleans?
The parade will take place on the vibrant streets of New Orleans, Louisiana, weaving through iconic locations including Bourbon Street and Canal Street, among other notable landmarks of New Orleans.
Are We Aloud to Drink Liquor During The Parade?
Certainly! New Orleans' open container laws allow us to provide a completely all-inclusive premium experience for our masqueraders. This offers the most genuine Caribbean carnival experience available in the United States.
